Martin D. Weel

CEO & Founder

Mr. Weel has been involved in the vision, architecture, design and development of technology products and businesses since the early age of 9. Running a T1 out of his parents house, he had one of the largest BBS systems in the country in the 6th grade.

After high school Weel worked a short time for Microsoft to help develop MS Market, a internal procurement system for Microsoft employees. Unhappy with the lack of entrepreneurial spirit he quit to start building products on his own.

n-Tier software, a consultancy started by Weel developed a number of procurement systems for J Walter Thompson Wordlwide, and Xerox.

n-Tier software evolved into NexTier solutions. NexTier solutions grew to 34 employees. NexTier's flagship product EZ-Control, was designed to handle supply chain management for the publishing industry. NexTier Solutions was acquired by International Paper in 2001 and operates as a seperate business today.

Elario, Inc proceeding NexTier solutions was a company founded by Weel focusing on supply chain solutions. During this time Elario built a number of products around RFID & supply chain technologies. These technologies were sold to MeadWestvaco who spun them out into new ventures.

As the head of CurveNorth, Marty currently heads the innovation and idea generation at the core of CurveNorth's offering.
